The Bombardier Global 7500 is one of the world’s largest and longest-range business jets. It can be configured with four living zones that are perfect for meetings, entertainment, dining and relaxation, with a full kitchen and a dedicated crew zone.
About this aircraft
- Originally named the Global 7000, the Global 7500 was announced in October 2010, made its first flight in November 2016 and was certified in September 2018.
- The aircraft is the industry’s only business jet with four true living spaces and a dedicated crew rest area. Its cabin has room for up to 19 passengers, but typically seats 12-16 people.
- The baggage hold is large enough for over 20 suitcases, allowing for at least one per passenger.
- The Global 7500 is one of the longest-range purpose-built business jets and can fly nonstop from New York to Hong Kong or Singapore to San Francisco.
With its industry-leading range and unrivalled space and comfort, the Global 7500 rivals the Gulfstream G650ER at the very pinnacle of the purpose-built private jet market.
Interior design
The Global 7500 is one of the only business jets to offer four true living spaces, a full kitchen and a dedicated crew suite. A stand-out feature of the jet’s sizable cabin is the ergonomic Nuage seats found throughout, which offer class-leading comfort with a unique floating base, fully trackless footprint, deep recline and adjustable tilting headrest.
The interior is typically divided into ‘suites’, including the Club Suite business area and the Conference Suite where six passengers can be seated for meetings or dining. Meals are prepared in the largest and best-appointed kitchen in the market, which was designed in collaboration with top cabin crews to allow for fine dining to be served onboard.
The Global 7500 features Bombardier’s Pũr Air refined air purification system. Temperature, lighting and sound can be controlled via a touch-screen controller in each suite and individual environments can be adjusted using a Nice Touch cabin management system that can be accessed on passengers’ personal devices.

Interesting facts to learn before you fly
- While the Global 7500 has a larger cabin and longer range than its closest competitor, the Gulfstream G650ER, the real point of difference is its potential for a permanent dedicated bedroom rather than converting the divan.
- Another advantage over the G650ER is a true stand-up shower in the adjoining ensuite lavatory at the rear of the aircraft.
- Passengers can stream high-definition content, watch sports games and enjoy fast internet connectivity.
- The jet’s wing design makes it nimble enough to access airports with relatively short runways or steep approaches.
Technological features
The Global 7500 is powered by two specially designed GE Passport engines, taking it to a top speed of Mach 0.925 (982 km/h).
The aircraft boasts one of the industry’s most spacious cockpits, equipped with a permanent side-facing jump seat. The Bombardier Vision flight deck features advanced fly-by-wire technology and exceptional ergonomics and aesthetics.
History
