Interior design

The Praetor 500's cabin is designed with comfort in mind. At six feet high and seven feet wide with a flat floor throughout, there's plenty of room for passengers to stretch their legs.

The cabin is usually presented in either a six-seat layout with two club seats, two forward-facing single seats and a belted lavatory seat; or an eight-seat configuration with a reduced galley to accommodate a two-seat divan at the front of the cabin.

The Embraer Praetor 500 is powered by two Honeywell HTF7500E turbofan engines. Inside, a Rockwell Collins ProLine Fusion flight deck features four LCD screens, a synthetic vision system using 3D data, and advanced intuitive situational awareness tools that reduce the pilot’s workload and improve decision-making.

The aircraft also has a modern fly-by-wire flight control system with side-stick controls, an inertial reference system and automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast surveillance with real-time air traffic control.

History

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer announced the Praetor 500 in 2018 alongside the Praeter 600. Built as an evolution to the popular Legacy 450, the Praetor 500 improves on its predecessor in several areas including cabin amenities, fuel efficiency and airspeed.
